Our aim is simple – to serve a wide selection of great cask ales and keg beers as well as some cask ciders, carefully selected wines and simple pub food in a clean, friendly and traditional pub environment.
Our main focus is on beer with 7 hand pumps dedicated to traditional cask ale from interesting local and national brewers. We also have 3 hand pumps for cask ciders and a craft beer wall featuring 6 ever changing keg beers. We added our very own Brewshed beers to the range in 2011 and you’ll always find our 3 Brewshed regulars on tap plus a seasonal Brewshed beer. Our beer tracker shows everything we’ve stocked so far and you’ll also find a handful of good wines by the glass.
If you’re looking for something to eat, we offer a selection of simple but tasty bar snacks such as deep fried whitebait and crispy fried brawn with piccalilli. If you’re looking for a more substantial meal, look no further than our sister pubs, The One Bull, The Cadogan and The Crown.
We also have a great outdoor space with seating for over 50 people so don’t forget to come and enjoy a beer in the sun (on the rare occasions that our great British weather gives you the chance!)…
Free wi-fi is available throughout the pub.
We don’t feel that The Beerhouse itself is an environment suitable for children although they are welcome to sit with you in the garden. Alternatively, The Cadogan and The Crown are great for the whole family and under 18’s are also welcome during the day at The One Bull.
We are canine friendly. Dogs are always welcome in the garden on a lead. If your dog is well behaved then we’re happy for you to have him (or her) on a lead in the bar. We do ask that you keep your dog out of the way as we hope you appreciate that dogs are not everyone’s cup of tea.
